The oncology social workers at MaineHealth help people with cancer and their families deal with the emotions, stress and changes that come with a cancer diagnosis. People with a cancer diagnosis face a lot of new information and decisions that can feel overwhelming. Social workers have the information that can make tasks easier for people and help them better cope.
