- Why Maine Medical Center?I chose Maine Medical Center for my palliative care medicine training because of its strong interdisciplinary approach to providing hospice and palliative medicine. I was really impressed by its comprehensive learning environment with exposure to complex cases across oncology, cardiology, neurology, and critical care. The fellowship provides a unique balance of inpatient, outpatient, and hospice experiences, preparing me to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
