MaineHealth Surgical Care and Wound Care North Conway provides specialized treatment for chronic or non-healing wounds.
Advanced wound care, close to home
Do you have a sore or wound that has not significantly improved from normal treatment? Typically, a wound that does not respond to normal medical care within 30 days is considered a problem or chronic wound.
Non-healing wounds can be caused by inadequate circulation, poorly functioning veins, immobility and chronic health conditions such a diabetes. Chronic wounds can lead to a lower quality of life and even amputation. When wounds persist, a specialized approach is required for healing.
