What is interventional pain management?
Interventional pain management is a specialized type of pain management that may be used when other pain management techniques aren’t providing relief. It involves using minimally-invasive procedures that target the source of pain directly (nerves, joints or tissues) to provide more targeted and precise relief.
Our pain management procedures may take place in a hospital procedure room or in an operating room with an interventional pain medicine trained anesthesiologist using advance technology to guide certain procedures. These outpatient procedures often involve injections or other techniques to block pain signals, reduce inflammation and promote healing.
