- Best / Worst JobConstruction (working for my Dad). Hard work in which I got yelled at (what I remember to be constantly), but saw the fruits of my labor and learned to always measure twice and cut once.
- Why Maine Medical CenterGreat training with many local partnerships in a community that is close to my home, a bit of “choose your own adventure” flexibility within the fellowship to pursue interests that already do, or may come to exist during training.

- Why Maine Medical CenterI’m excited to be part of the Leadership in Preventive Medicine fellowship at Maine Med because of the opportunity to continue to learn about the community I have gotten to know through living here before medical school and during residency. I’m looking forward to fostering relationships with community partners, supporting community-identified needs, and learning from community wisdom. The design of the fellowship emphasizes all of these things both through intentional curricular design and through a flexible schedule that will allow me to pursue these interests with the support of faculty.

- What did you do before medical schoolI spent one year as a teaching assistant in Madrid, Spain through the Fulbright Exchange program, then spent a year working at farms in Massachusetts and California.
- Best / Worst JobBest job – Working at a small family run chicken farm in Lompoc California through the WWOOF association. Communal living, sunny days everyday, no bugs, fun manual labor all day = great sleep!
- Why Maine Medical CenterMy family and I have wanted to move to Maine for some time and this was a perfect time for us to move for family reasons and also for an incredible opportunity to continue my training in Preventive Medicine at Maine Med, since I have had a strong interest in public health since before medical school.
