The MaineHealth Maine Medical Center (MHMMC) Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME-accredited program that provides advanced training in all aspects of critical care, including state of the art clinical care and research. This is an internal medicine based program open to applicants with prior training in internal medicine, med – peds, or emergency medicine.
Our multi-disciplinary program is lead by board-certified critical care specialists in medicine, surgery and anesthesia. Each faculty member will play a key role in your education as you develop expertise in caring for the critically ill. This is a two-year program. (One year option may be possible for those completing a prior internal medicine-based subspecialty fellowship in cardiology, pulmonary, infectious disease or nephrology.)
