Rebecca N Hutchinson, MD

Dr. Hutchinson received her medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Hutchinson received her masters from Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. She completed her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care here at MMC. Her clinical interests include delivering high quality palliative and end-of-life care to all patients. She is also an active health services researcher with a specific interest in developing novel ways to increase access to palliative care for patients living with chronic illnesses including advanced heart failure and COPD. She is also interested in research on improving prognostication and delivering prognostic information to patients. Outside of work, Dr. Hutchinson enjoys spending time with her three children, hiking, camping and skiing.
