Rebecca I Kalman

Dr. Kalman is Board certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care.  She received her medical degree from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Kalman completed her Anesthesia residency and Critical Care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital where she stayed on as staff spending the majority of her time working in the neurovascular operating rooms and surgical ICU. She joined Maine Medical Center to complete a second fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and will now split her time between Anesthesia and Palliative Medicine. Her clinical interests include palliative care in the ICU and perioperative setting as well as resident and medical student education.  In her spare time, Dr. Kalman enjoys running, doing yoga and traveling.
