Pamela G Bokat, MD
- Psychiatry
Prior to my medical career, I was trained and worked as a social worker in NYC. Those years of experience helped to inform me and add perspective to my current psychiatric practice. Over the past several years, I have developed a particular interest in interventional psychiatry treatments. My ECT team and I strive to provide patients with supportive and evidence-based care and education throughout their treatment with us.
Additionally, I helped to develop and currently run the Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team. Our goals are to work on preparation/mitigation/immediate response and follow up to disasters with attention to the mental health components.
