Monica is an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 2009. She worked as a staff nurse at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. primarily on the Heart and Kidney Unit. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing at University of Maryland in 2016, and subsequently became a Pediatric Heart Failure/Heart Transplant nurse practitioner. She moved to Maine in 2020 and joined the Congenital Heart and Congenital Cardiac Surgery team. In her free time she enjoys exploring Maine with her husband and son.
