Meredith A Baker, MD

I grew up in New Hampshire following my veterinarian father around and for as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a “doctor for human children.” However, it was not until medical school that I realized the type of doctor for children I wanted to be was a pediatric surgeon. Now, after a decade of training, it is a dream come true to be a pediatric surgeon at Maine Medical Center. It is a privilege and an honor to be able to provide care to children and their families. I pride myself on providing compassionate individualized care to patients and on educating and supporting their families.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time outside with my family exploring the beautiful state of Maine.
