Krystian W Bigosinski

Krystian Bigosinski, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Swedish Hospital at Cherry Hill Family Medicine in Seattle and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He is board certified in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He specializes in diagnostic and procedural sports ultrasound, care of endurance athletes, care of the overhead or throwing athlete, evidence-based sports medicine and tendon injuries.

“I believe that patients should take an active role in their health care, and by providing them with a diagnosis and treatment options, supported by the most up-to-date sports medicine research, we can together best decide how to get them back to the activities they enjoy the most. I enjoy the outdoors, whether on bike, by foot, on skis, in a canoe, or with fly rod in hand with my wife and dog. On the rare occasion that the Maine weather keeps us indoors, we love to play board games.”
