Endocrinology is a fascinating field of medicine that can involve every organ system in our bodies. I chose endocrinology because of how life changing it is to treat endocrine/hormonal derangements for patients. Furthermore, the pandemic of obesity and diabetes is growing more than ever before. Having the role as an endocrinologist in providing optimal treatment for diabetes and obesity could make an impact on the entire Maine community and help our patients live longer and healthier. I believe in involving the patient at every step of the medical treatment journey and aim to establish strong rapport and relationships with all my patients.
