Joseph R Williams, MD

I am originally from the Chicagoland area in Illinois however I have lived in numerous locations across the country, most recently Kansas. Ever since I took Human Anatomy in college I wanted to become a physician. I liked everything during medical school and chose emergency medicine because of its breadth and fast paced nature. I was drawn to Memorial Hospital as it is a smaller hospital and is nestled in a location with seemingly unlimited outdoor recreation activities. I enjoy working in smaller hospitals as there is a very real sense of being a part of a team and you are able to get to know your co-workers much more easily. When not at work I love spending time with Team Williams (my awesome wife and five kids) and enjoy Crossfit, running, hiking and generally anything outdoors.
