Joseph B Kahan

I have dedicated my life to helping patients with orthopedic problems. I take care of acute and chronic injuries and see patients of all ages, with a special interest in sports-related injuries of the shoulder and elbow.

My medical background includes time as a doctor for National Football League and Major League Soccer teams, in addition to caring for minor league baseball teams and college and high school athletes. Prior to medicine, I was a college athlete and then a high school math teacher and coach. I appreciate the urgency to getting athletes back to their sport in a safe and timely manner. Our team specializes in surgery, but we do everything we can to get you better without it. To give you the best care, it is incredibly important for us to understand more than just where it hurts and why, so we also focus on the activities you love so that you can return to enjoying life. Surgery is a journey and we want you to know that we are involved throughout your recovery and rehabilitation.
