Ian J Bristol, MD
- Radiation Oncology
I grew up in Maine and have had the great fortune to be able to return to my home state to practice medicine. I think having roots in the state allows me to really connect with patients and help them understand their diagnosis and why certain treatments are being recommended. That connection also helps establish mutual trust – an essential component of quality care. I love that I can help my fellow Mainers, and I love everything about living here – indoors and out; at work and at play. Maine is a unique place and it attracts high end physicians who could compete at any academic center nationally but who prefer the deeper personal and community feeling that the practice of medicine here affords. My wife and three children love living here, too.
