I embrace the challenge of caring for children and young adults with cancer and blood disorders. We use a team model to address and support all the needs of patients and families throughout their care. I try hard to translate complicated medical problems into more basic, comprehensible concepts to allow patients and families to participate in decisions about their care. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and family. I’m also an adaptive ski instructor who loves to ski with children and adults with various disabilities.
