Cristian C Rosu

After finishing medical school at McGill University in Montreal, I completed a six-year residency in cardiac surgery at University of Montreal in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of adult cardiac surgery but I have a strong interest in caring for patients with aortic problems, particularly after a close friend of mine suffered a life-threatening aortic dissection. Therefore, I undertook extensive fellowship training with leading aortic and vascular surgeons in Cleveland, Houston, and Portland, Oregon before returning to practice in Montreal. Additional training in vascular surgery has given me more skills to help adapt repair of a patient’s aortic disease to their personal situation. I am excited to now be in Maine and help Mainers get the most advanced care they need for their cardiac and aortic problems.
