Cornelius J McGinn, MD
- Radiology, Radiation Oncology
I completed my residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Wisconsin in 1995 and was then on the faculty at the University of Michigan until 2003. Although I enjoyed the research and teaching opportunities at these Universities, my true passion was and remains direct patient care. Thus, I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to return “home” to Maine in 2003. I grew up in Brewer and spent time at MMC as a medical student. I believe the most important part of my work is helping patients understand their diagnosis and the treatment recommendations so they can make informed decisions. Supervising the delivery of Radiation Therapy with increasing precision, given the advances in our field, has been immensely satisfying.
