Christopher T Healey, MD
- Wound Care Specialist |
- Vascular Surgery
I am a lifelong New Englander, born and raised. I completed my education near my hometown of Providence, RI – first at Providence College then Brown University. I traveled north to the University of Vermont where I completed my General Surgery residency and spent a year conducting research in the biology of venous ulcers. Then I completed my training with a two-year Vascular Surgery fellowship at Tufts School of Medicine. Throughout my training, I have never strayed too far away from the Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots. I enjoy being a part of clinical research and currently am involved in studies looking to determine the best treatment for carotid artery disease, along with trying to develop the ideal stent graft to treat abdominal aortic aneurysms. One of my favorite parts of the job is teaching residents and patients about vascular diseases.
