Charles Jason Mallo, DO
- Psychiatry
As a psychiatrist, I value the interrelationship of mind, body, and spirit in understanding the challenges patients face. My background is in psychodynamic psychiatry, and I believe symptoms and behaviors have conscious and unconscious meanings. I am passionate about helping patients better understand their problems at the interface of biological, psychological, social, and cultural realms. Also, I see patients as unique and whole persons, beyond the problems that bring them into the office and with inherent strengths that can be supported in their treatment. In my free time I enjoy reading fiction, running near the beach, and hiking in the mountains.
