Anna E Furr

It is a privilege and joy to me to take care of children with gastroenterology issues.  Whether a child is struggling with chronic abdominal pain, having issues with constipation, or dealing with a chronic illness like inflammatory bowel disease or celiac disease, the world of pediatric gastroenterology is fascinating.  I have been practicing at Maine Medical Center for more than 10 years, and am thankful to have had the chance to interact with so many wonderful families.  I work hard to take a holistic approach to each patient, and engage the patient and parents as much as possible in the decision making process when deciding upon therapy.

In my free time, I enjoy running, cycling, hiking, cooking, and spending time at the beach with my husband and three children.
