Andrew George Hinkens, MD
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry |
- Psychiatry
I moved to Portland in 1981 with a plan to become a child psychiatrist and practice in Maine. Upon completion of my residency and fellowship at Maine Medical Center I became the first Director of the Child Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service, a position I held for ten years. Next I served as the Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship. I hold a master’s degree from Boston University School of Public Health as well as a master’s degree in medical education leadership from the University of New England. I am a member of the Maine Medical Center Institutional Review Board. I look forward to coming to work every day as I am part of an exceptional team and enjoy working with children and families.
