Amy L Plante, PA

I graduated with my Masters Degree in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. I then completed a PA Residency in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. I completed two Cardiothoracic Surgery rotations at different hospitals, which was when I fell in love with the specialty. I enjoy the complexity, high acuity, and high level of care that comes with our patient population. One of the highlights in my position at Maine Medical Center is to care for the patients before, during, and after their surgeries. It is exciting to follow the patients and see all of the progress made.
