I was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended Boston College for my undergraduate studies. After earning my medical degree at University of Massachusetts Medical School, completing my residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Boston University Medical Center, I joined Maine Medical Center’s Cardiology Division in 1999. I have served in leadership roles as MaineHealth Cardiology’s Quality Committee Chairman, American College of Cardiology (ACC) Northern New England Chapter President, Director of Imaging for the MMC Heart Valve Program, ACC National Quality Committee member and Senior Medical Director for MaineHealth Cardiology.
I am honored to currently serve as the Chair of the Department of Cardiac Services at Maine Medical Center and Chief of the MaineHealth Cardiovascular Service Line. I enjoy caring for patients, participating in research and education as a member of Maine Medical Center’s Heart Valve Team.
