Urgent Care | Urgent Care Plus

High-quality urgent care from trusted MaineHealth providers - no appointment needed

Urgent Care

Urgent care clinics provide more services than walk-in clinics. They treat more serious (but not life-threatening) injuries and illnesses. Wait times are usually shorter than an emergency room.

Urgent Care Plus

At MaineHealth Urgent Care Plus locations, emergency-trained physicians provide expert care for more serious medical concerns. Our team offers CT scans, ultrasounds, and X-rays in a specialized setting. If needed, we ensure a smooth transfer to a hospital emergency department.

For life-threatening emergencies, dial 911 or go to your local emergency department.

Important Billing Notice

MaineHealth Urgent Care Plus Brighton Ave Portland and MaineHealth Urgent Care Boothbay Harbor provide more advanced care that is billed like emergency services.

Your out-of-pocket cost (also called a co-pay) may be similar to an emergency room visit. Please check with your insurance provider to understand your plan and costs.
