Let’s Go! works with pediatric and family practices throughout Maine and Mt. Washington Valley, New Hampshire. Children and parents alike look to their healthcare providers for trusted health advice, and hearing the 5-2-1-0 message at their doctor’s office reinforces the healthy habits children are learning in child care and school or at out-of-school programs.
The 5-2-1-0 program can be easily woven into a practice’s busy day. Let’s Go! staff will support the complete practice team by meeting with your office manager and listening to the needs of the physicians and medical assistants to set you up for success. We provide everything you need to get started including a brief training for the entire staff.
Once you become a registered site you’ll have access to a free toolkit full of resources for staff and families, personal assistance from a trained coordinator, and additional training opportunities, such as workshops on Motivational Interviewing. By getting involved with Let’s Go!, you’ll join a network of hundreds of practices just like yours, working to improve the health of our children.
Lastly, as part of our evaluation and commitment to continuous improvement, we provide practices an opportunity to be recognized as a Let’s Go! Site of Distinction. This recognition highlights practices’ commitment to helping patients establish healthy habits at a young age through the 5-2-1-0 message and use of the Healthy Habits Questionnaire.
