ROCKPORT, ME — MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital (MHPBH) is pleased to welcome Kim Spectre, NP to its Rockport pediatrics practice.

Spectre moves to MHPBH full time from MaineHealth Waldo Hospital (MHWH), where she worked as a nurse practitioner at MaineHealth Primary Care and Walk-in Care Belfast for the past five years. She also worked as a per-diem nurse practitioner in the MaineHealth Pen Bay and Waldo Hospital emergency departments. Prior to that, she was the emergency department director at both hospitals for three years.
She completed her fellowship in rural emergency medicine at Bluewater Health in Brunswick and earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from Husson University in Bangor in 2014. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2005 and in wildlife biology in 1993, both from the University of Maine in Orono.
